This is an image of a little experiment I did using a VLC player and Simon Brown's video example of the blokes with the brazing in Step 9 of 31.
I right-clicked the title of Simon's video file and was presented with this URL:

NCVER Opportunities

I wonder whether there are people out there who might like to make application for exploring the use of a video portfolio tool like Streamfolio in their RPL or workplace assessment projects.
Some decent monies being offered that's for sure.

Student HD Example

I'm very taken with Simon Brown's excellent example of a high definition video that he has loaded showing an Automotive student operating a crankshaft at Mt. Gravvat TAFE.
The loaded video took over three minutes to load on my ADSL 2+ hard wired internet connection here in Orange. The video itself is excellent. What I'm keen to now chase is what drawn down rate are we on and what we can do to afford to supply playback of the video without taking the following steps;

Our Online ELGG Community Begins

Well....here I am here in the home office in Orange, NSW Australia building the ELGG Community website and blogging inside while I'm building at the same time.
Geoff is in Sydney attending the #elearning10 event and I will be connecting with him through the day.
